One of the really cool things about being in New Braunfels is the excellent music community that is open to new kinds of collaborations. Every week, I’ve been gathering with a core of talented musicians, who also happen to be awesome people, and the fruits of our jams and hangs are the Intersections Jam Band performances at Krause’s Cafe.
This Sunday, July 10 we’ll be jamming for the public at Krause’s Cafe from 3-7 pm. It’s free admission and even with the hot weather we get a solid breeze and of course, have cold beverages including Faust’s Alex Meixner Polka Pils to compliment the great food and music!
I’ll be playing my accordion and trumpet along with Mike Atkins on Keys, Matthew Briggs on Guitar, Brett Cline on Bass, and Michael Morris on Drums. Our special guests will be New Braunfels music mainstays Zack Walther and Shawn Hart. We’ll be playing some Texas Tornadoes, some Springsteen, some Willie, some CopperBox, some Polkas, and a bunch of other stuff… Come on over and check it out!!
I’ve been busy on some new collaborations that will be releasing videos and recordings soon. A little Gypsy Jazz, some Americana, and of course some rocking Polka stuff. Coming up I’m working on adding some new benefits for the Patreon peeps, as well as some more educational work! (Ie– social media will be getting more action soon– so make sure you’re subscribed to my YouTube channel)– and are following me on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, and Twitter!
