A very rare occasion– in fact, a first time, twice in one day! This Saturday The Alex Meixner Band will make its inaugural appearances in Palm City (the town I live in) and the neighboring town of Stuart! I think I’m going to drive roughly 15 miles round trip the entire day for 2 gigs! As much as I love traveling to entertain y’all– and experiencing all of the cool stuff on the road, there really aren’t enough exclamations available for having the ability to be close to home for a gig… and also, it’s smack dab in between my daughters’ birthdays. Maybe they’ll even reprise their performances for Pipihenderl with their little brother joining in… all depends, on whether the temperamental artists are willing to share their talents! 🙂
So the quick info– 2pm at Cummings Library in Palm City for the concert series. UPDATE!  All reservations for the Cummings Library show have been claimed.   Tickets still available for the 7pm show at Terra Fermata in Stuart, Florida-– where we’ll be opening for another band– so it’ll be a 60-75 minute set– early enough that you can bring the kids as well as hang out for the evening afterward!
Road gigs kick up with the first Northeast tour of the year in early May. Two of the performances have advance tickets on sale on our website at www.alexmeixner.com This is an experiment to see if we can continue offering tickets in the future, and maybe eventually adding packages for everything from meals & hotels, to other potential fan deals. Both the show in Pine Island, NY and Allentown, PA promise to be great events- and the boys and I look forward to entertaining there, as well as the other stops in Cleveland, Baltimore, NYC, Long Island, Reading, Hoboken, Asbury Park. Let us know if you’d like to see more tickets available in the future– we’re doing our best to make it easier for you to dig the tunez and showz.
