This album is based in its entirely on arrangements from MPA’s vast Vitak-Elsnic collection of music. Some of the songs are presented in classic polka style, essentially as written devcades ago. Others take standard tunes and present then in a whole new way, including the rocking Tejano-style sound – with both Spanish and English language lyrics – of Nina Bailando/Pretty Dancing Girl. A number of the songs have brand new English-language vocals that will warm your heart or make you chuckle. The musicians on this album are incredible and include Grammy-nominated artists Alex Meixner and Hank Guzevich and veteran vocalist Michael Morris. MPA is proud to introduce vocalist Abby Broeniman on this album – her crystal-clear voice will take your breath away.
