I’m in Helen, GA right now for my annual performances at the “World’s Longest Oktoberfest”. We had a nice opening last night and I’m looking forward to 3 more days of duo performances with Ed Klancnik on drums….
In the meantime, this has been my busiest year ever of touring performances. Since May, I have traveled approximately 25,000 miles throughout the USA, with a brief stop in British Columbia. The response from the crowds to the live performances, as well as the new “Family Tradition” cd has been overwhelmingly positive and I’m very grateful for all of the support and friendship I have received this year.
At the same time, I am working very hard to continue developing more repertoire to bring more exciting shows your way for the rest of this year and next year.
In order to keep everything going on the road and at home – I have enlisted the services of a good friend, Mark Bengtson, who will be coordinating some of my promotions work. He is administering this myspace and will be setting up a you tube channel amongst other efforts. Definitely check out the sites as they’re developing and pass them on to your friends too! (I will still be answering personal messages in my inbox in as timely a fashion as possible– so I look forward to keeping in touch with my friends as well!!)
Hope to see ya down the road with the remainder of the Oktoberfest/ Wurstfest season and into Christmas time…
