It’s been such a busy week so this is coming in just under the line. The boys and I have been entertaining some amazing crowds of senior citizens for daytime Oktoberfest shows by Ace in the Hole Productions all week after awesome Oktoberfests in Philadelphia and Asbury Park, NJ. I am continually impressed at how so many different kinds of people respond to the music of our band. Just yesterday there was a lady who was 102 years old that was up and doing the Chicken Dance and over the weekend we had our college drinking crowd and families side by side. It’s really special.
That being said, we’re heading out to the last daytime show of the season this morning in Paterson, NJ. Tonight we’re at one of our mainstays, the Pilsener Haus in Hoboken, NJ. This place has particularly really blossomed for us to play a diverse repertoire, so check it out!
Saturday we’re back at Bear Mountain, NY and the weather is going to cooperate, I can feel it!!!! A little cool crisp air is good and it won’t be snowing like two years ago!! And finally, Sunday brings us back to Stoudt’s Brewery in Adamstown, PA, a completely classic venue for dancers, drinkers and families alike.
Love and Oktoberfest to all! alex
