This is our big Midwest-East coast swing of the summer in the polka van. We’ll be starting in Lisle, IL on Thursday, July 20 at the Accordionists and Teachers Guild Convention. This concert will feature other fine musicians including Murl Allen Sanders from Washington and is open to anyone that is interested in a great program of accordion music. I’ve been practicing for this show, so hope y’all can hear it!!
We hit the road bright and early Friday morning to head east to Cincinnati, where The Alex Meixner Band will be headlining the longest running German festival in the United States, Kolping Schutzenfest! This will be our only night in Cincinnati this year- so hope to see our friends and fans out there!
It’ll be another long drive to get east to Baltimore for the Maryland German Festival at the Timonium Fairgrounds. This was a lot of fun last year- so we hope it is again, this year! We’ll be on stage Saturday and Sunday for all of our Baltimore/ Washington DC peeps!
A little birdie told me we might have some new merch available soon, so check out the show, wear the gear and have a great time while “Making Some Noise”!!
Also- last but not least– it looks like the Alex Meixner Band will be doing a cruise in Alaska in June 2018! This has been a bucket list trip for me forever- so I’m really looking forward to it. I hope we get a great group of people to join us… Information will be coming soon!! Keep an eye on our Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and of course alexmeixner.com for further information!
