We had such amazing times at Pilsener Haus, Bear Mountain and Stoudts again with the band. Thank you to the venues and all of the fans who make them such memorable occasions! And then I spent an awesome two days in Watkins Glen, NY presenting music assemblies to students from Pre-K through High School. It was such a great time catching up with old friends up there, and of course working with some excited kids!!
Alas, Oktoberfest season is quickly coming to a close but there’s still a few more gigs till I go home to my kiddos in Florida! Thursday night, I’ll be playing a little solo concert in Allentown, PA at the Benner Mansion as a fundraiser for the PA Music Preservation Society. This should be a really nice intimate performance to support the upcoming Memorial Day weekend festival in Allentown– so I’m looking forward to enjoying the time with some good people.
And then it’s off to Brooklyn, NY with the whole band for the Inaugural Oktoberfest at Green Point Terminal presented by Brauhaus Schmitz. The Alex Meixner Band will be performing all 3 days with a great assortment of beer, amazing German food, and an authentic atmosphere. Doug, Beate, and Vanessa have been working tirelessly to put this event together so we will end our northeast Oktoberfest tour on a high note.
See ya there!!
