We had a great opening weekend of Oktoberfest on the east coast. Luckily, I dodged the hurricane/ tropical storm that is affecting so many people in the Carolinas. Our gigs were hot in Aberdeen, MD and absolutely gorgeous at Plattduetsche Park — hopefully we keep good weather coming as we head back to Hoffman Estates, IL on Wednesday for a rare fall performance at the Biergarten from 5-8pm. We head on to Waterloo, IL for our annual performance for Ken and Barbara Leonard and friends (open to the public, just please call them ahead ) at the Acorn Golf Links on Thursday. From there, we have our premier appearance at the Peoria Oktoberfest for Friday-Saturday-Sunday. We’re all looking forward to meeting some new friends and hopefully making some new fans out there!
Peanut Butter Paddy is on for this stretch of the tour, as well as Tommy, Chris and Jimmy- so we’re having a lot of fun with the Oktoberfest standards, as well as a bunch of new repertoire. We’ve been road-testing some of the new material from the upcoming “Make Some Noise” album and some new covers and mashups… It’s keeping everything fun and fresh on stage and hopefully, the audience agrees!! (It seems like y’all do!)
Prost!!
