Today I’ll be finally getting home from the last band tour of the year. It was a really good one– many of the venues were sold out and all of them were very festive for the holidays. It was a great time travelling with Hank, Tommy and Joe– but I’m really looking forward to the rest of the holiday time with the kiddos!
Thank you to everyone that came out and enjoyed the music and fellowship… also, with my arrival at home– any of y’all that need last minute presents, we’ll ship everything out immediately starting Thursday morning– so feel free to stuff some stockings with CDs, t-shirts, adult sippy cups, keychain/ bottle openers, hat pins or you can call for rates of purchasing any of the band members… (Those are probably negotiable depending on how much their families want to keep them around!!!!– HA :))
And of course– another great stocking stuffer- is tickets for the upcoming Live recording show at the Brauntex Theatre on Tues Feb.9! This is the first time we’ve ever planned a live recording with the band- and we’re all excited.
And finally– you can always stuff a stocking with purchasing a trip! Yes– we’re definitely doing the Polka Cruise with our good friends the Mikulas and Dujkas from Texas. We’ve had a good response already from many of y’all– and are anxious to see ya on the ship. It’s going to be a great time! I know we have some families signing up, as well as couples and singles- so it’ll be good for everyone!
All of that stuff aside– I sincerely wish that everyone is enjoying this holiday season and that music is part of the celebrations. For me, listening to my kids sing and dance along with their favorite Christmas songs, hearing the background Christmas songs playing in the car, house and stores- as well as playing a few Christmas church services is a really integral part to getting in the spirit of the season– regardless of the weather!
Be well! Merry Christmas and all that stuff!
