I’ll be road tripping out of Florida this weekend for some fun gigs in New Jersey and New York. I’ll be doing an all star polka show with the illustrious Fred Ziwich (from Cleveland, OH) and the inimitable Hank Guzevich (from Polka Family Band) on Monday and Tuesday for the senior audiences of Ace in the Hole Productions at the Brownstone in Paterson, NJ. There might be a few tickets available—for more information contact www.aceshows.com if you want to experience this great band…
Also- I’ll be playing at 2 of my favorite places in Brooklyn, NY—celebrating Cinco de Mayo at the Bell House for the infamous Guactacular! 20 chefs will be competing with the best guacamoles in NYC, mixed in with an hour of free Mexican beer and a special Cinco de Mayo Polka set! Check out www.thebellhouseny.com for more information…. Finally, a trip to Brooklyn wouldn’t be complete for me if I didn’t get to do a concert at Barbes—one of my favorite music rooms anywhere! I’ll be playing a solo show at Barbes on Fri. May 7 at 8pm. It’s a great, intimate room to check out for just about any show—Olivier programs some great acts on a regular basis- so check out www.barbesbrooklyn.com and visit—frequently! 🙂
In between the gigs, I’ll be visiting Emmaus High School in Emmaus, PA to work with Mr. Denmead’s fine troupe of musicians. A great band program that’s always fun to hear and play with!
Hope to see ya on the road….
