Polka comes to Reading in a BIG way for Polka Palooza! Alex Meixner (you know, the guy with the accordion from the Hormel commercial?) brings big smiles and lots of infectious energy to every show. He plays traditional polka music, adding his own special touch along the way. It’s the perfect party atmosphere for a beautiful summer night at the Evergreen German Club.
The Guitar Slingers – local guitarists Fred Bernardo, Dewey Wahl, Dave Lewis, Dave ‘Lil Ragu’ Piccone and Dave Kline – join Meixner on stage for songs throughout the night, bringing a rock and roll vibe to the stage.
