Maryland German Festival

The 117th Annual German Festival returns to the Timonium Fairgrounds July 22nd and 23rd for a weekend of lederhosen, beer, food, music, and Gemütlichkeit! The festival will be held in the air-conditioned Exhibition Hall. Gates open at 11:30 both days, with lots of fun for the whole family.

The Alex Meixner Band is returning on both days!

Alex will be joined by the Continentals and traditional singing and dance groups, including Alt Washingtonia. Of course, we will have German food, German and domestic beer, wine, schnapps, and non-alcoholic beverages. Vendors will display and sell German crafts, clothing, and collectibles. For kids, there are a rock-climbing wall, face painting, and puppet shows.

Admission is $10.00; children under 12 are free with a paying adult; seniors and active military with ID are $7.00. Free admission if wearing FULL tracht! Mastercard and VISA will be accepted and there are ATMs on the premises. Festivities end at 10:00 pm Saturday and 6:00 pm Sunday.
