Event Details
Baltimore’s best kept secret is its German heritage, and it awaits you at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, this July.
Once again the festival will be in the air-conditioned Exhibition Hall.
Dance to music provided by local German bands. Enjoy traditional folk dancing and choral singing. Lift your bier mug and join in the singing of “Ein Prosit” as you toast to der Gemütlichkeit!
There are imported and local crafts and collectibles, as well as pony rides, puppet shows, face painting and princesses.
Enjoy authentic German cooking, quench your thirst with imported or domestic beer, wine, non-alcoholic beverages or schnapps; and for dessert enjoy delicious German pastries.
Admission: adults $8, seniors and active military with ID $6.
Children under 12 with paying adult admitted free.
If you come dressed in full tracht, you too will be admitted free!
Sat 11:30am to 10pm, Sun 11:30am to 6pm.
