Alex Meixner and  Jim Meyer, the Alex Meixner Band’s guitarist, will join Steve Riley, Geno Delafose and Josh Bacca for a night of accordion music moderated by Steve Riley.

The accordion, a well-known instrument here is south Louisiana, is an important part of many forms of traditional music throughout the world. Invented in Germany in 1822, it is the instrument at the forefront of Cajun & Creole music, French Canadian music, Eastern European folk music, Conjunto music, Polka music & more.
