Kickoff Fundraiser for the 2018 Great Allentown Memorial Day Celebration

Nationally acclaimed musician, bandleader, educator and polka music advocate Alex Meixner will perform in person at polka festivities on Oct. 19 that will formally kick off the fundraising campaign for the 2018 Great Allentown Memorial Day Celebration. The public is invited to take advantage of the opportunity to get up close and personal with this Grammy-nominated virtuoso, enjoy some rousing polka music, join in the dancing and savor Pennsylvania German food and drink.

The polka night is from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at the historic Benner Mansion, 25 S. 15th St., Allentown. A $10 donation per person will be collected at the door. Complimentary parking is available next door at the Traylor Hotel, or in the parking lot on the north side of Hamilton Boulevard just across from the hotel.
