Don Lipovac was one of the most influential musicians in my life. A kind, gentle, humble man who’s pure musicianship on the accordion was a culmination of intense study of ethnic traditions, musical technique and pure love of connecting with audiences. Whether playing simple folk songs or intricate technical showpieces or serious classical works-his performances personify a musical perfection I always aspire to attain. Upon his passing in April 2014, I realized that too few of my friends here online are familiar with his recordings so they’re now available in my online store with the hopes that you will get the opportunity to enjoy his music as much as I have through my entire life.
