So I’m currently looking at the arsenal of accordions at home and have come to the decision that a few of them deserve some new homes… (i.e. these are some instruments that haven’t been used on gigs or the studio lately…) If you’re interested in any accordions, let me know and I’ll see if there’s anything I can help you with!

Do you have any accordions with cut-up hotel room keys in the bass side? These are very desirable and can really take a beating. Let me know and I will gladly take out a second mortgage…

Do you have any accordions that would be suitable for a beginner? I am interested in studying. I’m a 34 y.o. Accountant by day, semipro classical vocalist by night. I’ve been interested in studying as a result of being exposed to it at the Evergreen Heimatbund in Fleetwood PA, plus visits to the Reading Liederkranz. I read music at an intermediate level and have some right hand piano skills (and am familiar with chords) so I’m looking for a good accoustic piano accordion to start lessons on. Seems that there are some smaller models made for beginners, such as the Hohner Bravo II 60, but then another school of thought I’ve come across recommends getting a used, reasonably affordable 120 button accordion right from the start. As a big fan of yours, I’m curious to hear your opinion, refardless of whether or you have one suited for me you’d like to sell. Thanks!!!

Forgive me if this is my second post. Wasn’t sure if the first went through. Any used piano accordions you’d recommend to a beginner? If not, any recommendations on what type/size/where to find in eastern pa? Thanks!

Hello Alex: This is Wes from the German American Club Gemütlichkeit in Naples, FL. If any of your piano accordions can produce the Steirisch sound, I could be interested. I don’t think I have enough time left (at the age of 77) to be taking up the button accordion, but I love the Steirisch sound.

Wes, Unfortunately i don’t think any of the accordions I have for sale meet that need– though I do have a really nice 3 row button accordion that would be perfect for learning… There’s always time!!!

3 row button accordion that would be perfect for learning?…..sounds like a match for me, I want to learn. My Opa was an accordian player. What is the small fee that you are asking? I could probably save enough by the time you come back here to play Wurstfest….Yes, I am here in New Braunfels, Texas.

Good matches are what we’re all about!!! The 3 row button accordion is in perfect playing condition, comes with a case and straps- as well as a free starter lesson– (either live or skype depending on schedule) The retail price on an instrument in this range from Austria is around $2500. I’m hoping to get $900. How does that sound? Send me an email at alex@alexmeixner.com for further information.
