The northeast has been great so far– super cool gigs at Plattduetsche, Asbury Festhalle up on the roof!, and of course Musikfest… well, maybe cool isn’t the word– it’s been a bit toasty… but, thank you to all of the fans who are supporting the music.
Tuesday brings the band back to Reichenbach Hall in Manhattan and of course Wednesday is our show in Boston at Johnny D’s. There are still tickets available, so get yourself and any peeps in any proximity to Boston out to check out the rare New England club show…
Thursday will be a new venue for us– The Hofbrau Bierhaus in Patchogue, Long Island… We’ve been trying to coordinate with a street fair going on that evening- so there will be lot’s of fun stuff in Patchogue that night. The Alex Meixner Band will be playing inside from 6:30- 9:30 pm— so come early and stay late- it will be a great time!
Friday night is our annual gig at the Evergreen Club in Fleetwood, PA. Free admission, great food and drink and a totally awesome atmosphere for everyone. It’s a great place for everyone to get together!
Saturday night, we’ll be playing a wedding… We’ve been working up some new arrangements for the happy couple and their family– it’s a lot of fun playing these parties! 🙂
On Sunday we return to The Alpine up in Honesdale, PA for their annual Summer Oktoberfest. It’s been a few years since we’ve had the honor to entertain for the Eiffert Family and the people under the big tent up there. Another great venue– lot’s of amazing homemade food, good beer and a band that’s ready to mix up all the traditional and party songs for some good peeps…
Monday will be a first time gig for me– doing 2 solo sets at the Elizabethtown Fair. I’ll be wandering a bit with my accordion and then doing a family show… Hope to be having a great time with the kiddos and families.
Can’t believe we’re looking at the end of summer– then things really kick off for Oktoberfest!!!!!!
