Bavarian Specialties- Our Official Trachten Supplier

Bavarian_Specialties_Frankenmuth_logoWe have recently teamed up with our good friend Andreas Schwarzkopf from Frankenmuth, MI to get some new lederhosen! His company, Bavarian Specialties, LLC ( www.bavarianspecialty.com ) has a wonderful array of trachten (lederhosen, bundhosen, dirndl dresses, shoes, hats, socks, shirts– you name it!) as well as recordings and other gift items from Germany and Austria. We’re all sure you’ll find Andreas and his peeps to be very friendly and helpful in finding the right attire or gifts from Europe. They will be at more festivals this year with The Alex Meixner Band so you can get your festive attire and sport it with the band too!! We’re looking forward to showing off more of our new styles in the near future!

Return to Texas & PCB

Green CloversIt’s time for the next road trip already! Heading back up to Panama City
Beach
for a 4 day stand at the Hofbrau Biergarten which culminates in the
Sunday, March 17 St Patty’s show! What better way to celebrate the day of
green, than beer, great food and the 3 ring circus of Meixner music at the
Hofbrau!! We don’t know any better way!!!!

From there– it’s off to Texas!!! I’m really excited about the growth of
educational work again in my tours. I just had a wonderful 4 day residency
at the Oil City, PA HS (Special thanks to Bob Flath and Dan Cartwright for
all of their amazing work to make it happen so successfully!) and I’m on to
a day of accordion seminars at Heritage Arts in Pasadena, TX- as well as a
day of clinics with the High School band program at Klein Forest in Houston
area. Of course the tour is centered around 3 days at the Tomball German
Fest on Fri-Sat-Sun March 22-23-24!!
www.polkabeat.com is sponsoring the
performances by The Alex Meixner Band in Tomball, as well as a special,
unplugged, solo show by Alex at Cactus Music in Houston on Thursday March
21.
